Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what it does not, and who to contact about it.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

Draft — not yet cleared for publication. The legal entity name, registered address, and governing jurisdiction still need to be filled in below, and the text should be reviewed by someone qualified before this page goes live. Delete this notice once that is done.

Scope

This policy covers revise.id, the public marketing website. The Revise applications themselves — submit.revise.id and production.revise.id — handle manuscript and account data under separate terms provided to each journal at onboarding. This page does not describe those systems.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. There are no forms, no accounts, no analytics scripts, and no advertising or tracking cookies on revise.id. Browsing these pages does not create a record tied to you.

What third parties may see

  • Web fonts. Pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request headers. This is Google's processing, governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
  • Server logs. Our web server records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent — as part of normal operation and security monitoring. These logs are not used to build profiles and are not shared.

If you email us

Every call to action on this site opens your email client. When you write to us, we hold what you send — your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you tell us about your journal — for as long as needed to answer you and to maintain the relationship if you become a customer.

We do not sell this information, do not pass it to advertisers, and do not add you to a mailing list without you asking. If you joined the Revise[Production] waitlist before that platform opened, we will use your address to contact you about it and nothing else.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@revise.id and we will act on it. Deletion requests for correspondence are honoured except where we are required to retain records for accounting or legal reasons.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.

Who to contact
